10/28 – Painted Canyon Hike (Mecca California) early am – back mid afternoon.
Harvest Festival at Foothill Vineyard Church in evening.
11/3 – 5 419 O’Ree.
11/11 – Saturday. San Dimas Heros Flag Ceremony. .
11/18 – Scout for Food – Albertsons, San Dimas 9 am to 1 pm
We welcome two new Scouts to our Troop!
February we will have a fishing trip to have a fun day but also earn the fishing merit badge.
We had a broomball event in January and our bi-annual Court of Honor which had 11 Rank Advancements and 68 Merit Badges presented!
What a busy couple months! We had over 100 people at our Zombie Apocalypse Cuboree this year. Then we participated in the District Webeloree and the Scout Expo.
Moving forward we have a break for Thanksgiving, but the Patrols can be working on advancements and planning. December we have a Patrol weekend, mistletoe fundraiser (tentative), and plan the Broomball night early January.
January will also have the next Court of Honor.
4th of July Parade is a fun day to show BSA pride!

Court of Honor is June 13.
We will be going to Camp Sierra Marin this summer – northern California.
Meetings move to San Dimas Canyon Park starting June 20 (6:30 to 8 pm)

What a year! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Our next meeting will be January 4. Board of Reviews will be occurring that evening also.
Broomball is January 8th – remember to RSVP and if bringing non-scouts, to complete the waiver.
Backpacks for Nicaragua (Service project) is January 9th at Foothill Vineyard Church. School supply donations are needed also!

Fishing Merit Badge!
The fishing merit badge will be completed in two parts. Part 1 at the meeting on 2/10 and Part 2 at the Lake Irvine fishing trip on March Saturday March 1, 2014.
The Merit Badge Counselor (Mr. Camacho) has asked that the scouts review the following documents. See email from SPL for additional direction.
